Shabwa.. Fire at Ataq International Airport

On the evening of Sunday, December 14, 2025, a fire broke out in a vehicle carrying fuel at Ataq International Airport, Shabwa Governorate, southeastern Yemen.

The governorate’s security media reported that civil protection teams brought the fire which broke out in the car under control without causing any injuries or damage to airport facilities.

He added that the fire occurred near the gas station inside the airport, which required rapid intervention by the relevant teams, stressing that the fire occurred after the car was loaded with fuel.
